From Tensta to Rosendal

Rugs with unique patterns

Living in Tensta 06 (Tensta Bo 06 )

Slowly and lovingly

Hens, flowers, leaves, parasols and one or two camels in Livstyckets collection FROM TENSTA TO ROSENDAL (FRÅN TENSTA TILL ROSENDAL). During one late summer’s day everyone at Livstycket sat in Rosendal’s apple orchard laughing together over coffee, sketching, drawing and talking about life. This resulted in a unique pattern created with the support of artist Ulla Tenman and designer Lillian RAA Woud-Maggero.

In conjunction with The Living Fair (Bomässan) in Tensta 2006 Livstycket developed a totally new product, RUGS WITH UNIQUE PATTERNS, created by some of our artistically trained participants. The rugs are manufactured in India and are of best quality wool.

During LIVING IN TENSTA 06 (TENSTA BO 06) Livstycket moved to Tenstaplan 6. The move was just two blocks away but a move or flight isn’t always like this….here the boundaries were erased and we met up in a creative common presence. Based on and inspired by the theme “living in other countries and living in Sweden” Livstycket using its own form language and design created absolutely unique interior design for a standard apartment.
The interior design was the result of co-operation between Livstycket’s participants under the leadership of artist Ulla Tenman and designer Lillian RAA Woud-Maggero during the spring term of 06.

The exhibition SLOWLY AND LOVINGLY (SAKTA OCH KÄRLEKSFULLT) at Solna Library (Bibliotek), which took place during the summer of 2005 told the story of Livstycket’s history dating back to 1992.
